Eve Wang (b. 1997) is currently based in Houston, TX. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Case Western Reserve University and J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.

Eve’s philosophical research explores the relationship between subjectivity, memory, and the singularity of lived experiences (haecceity and qualia). Her work draws from three related discourses:
  • Twentieth century French philosophy: existentialism and the post-structuralism of Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze.
  • The ongoing dialogue between Cognitive Science and Philosophy of Mind, especially on the issue of Panpsychism developed by Thomas Nagel and David Chalmers
  • Zen Buddhism and the theory of non-self

Eve is interested in using photography and other media to explore metaphors of singularity in our day-to-day experiences.
